![]() Thanks for replying, I followed your instructions but after typing in my printers EWS page on my computer and clicking on the Network tab- clicked on 802.11 and found IPv4 but under the radio button there was no where to enter a manual DNS server. ![]() I am the admin on both desktops, no Homegroup, or user accounts, I just choose to share it. Last night when the tech install it on my windows 7 desktop it said you have successfully installed it on - windows 8.1 desktop which of course was incorrect. It does print and scan just fine although I only have it on my windows 8.1 desktop for now, I still have to I have uninstalled my printer software many times and re installed it as has a HP tech but still no luck. Is this one of the printers that have had some apps taken away from it? if so this may be the problem with web services. I can log into e print without any problems and it is connected wireless and on my network, I was able to send faxes but only from the top feeder of my printer and not my computer but at least that works, I can make a cover sheet from the fax software. Now for some reason my printer cannot connect to web services, it says an error occured but you may still be able to use some of our services. My printer was working just fine, I share it wireless between a windows 8.1 64 bit desktop, a windows 7 64 bit desktop and a windows 8.1 64 bit Notebook, the latter is rarely used although stays plugged in.
